Generator

Aaron Noble, Andrew Schoultz, Lexington & 18th Streets, 2002

Aaron Noble and Andrew Schoultz’s mural Generator at 3469 18th Street started when Lexington Street resident, Trisha Lagaso, tired of seeing the constant graffiti on the building at the corner of her street, approached the building’s tenant and business owner to find out if she would be interested in having a mural painted on the building to deter graffiti and create a positive contribution to the neighborhood/community. Ms. Liang responded affirmatively to the prospect and the two contacted Clarion Alley Mural Project to see about having a mural done on the building – it was important to them that CAMP is also a part of their neighborhood (one block away).
