What: Two-week online auction with a live auction on opening day!
The Coalition on Homelessness will hold their 21st Art Auction, Transforming Art into Action & Reconnecting in Resilience as a two-week online auction. COH will be celebrating collective community success in garnering over $1.1 billion in funding for homeless services including hundreds of housing subsidies, an additional 1,000 shelter beds, and thousands of units of permanent affordable housing for our most vulnerable residents. ArtAuction21 has something for everyone – there will be beautiful and powerful art at a variety of prices to accommodate a various of budgets.
The Coalition on Homelessness is a grassroots social justice organization dedicated to the elimination of homelessness and its social, political, and economic causes. Our bottom-up organizing model endures the voices of some of the most disenfranchised San Franciscans lead the fight against homelessness. Our work is more important than ever with the influx of over a billion dollars to San Francisco’s homeless response system and the pandemic still wreaking havoc on our most vulnerable.
Art Auction 21 features over 200 pieces from local artists who have generously donated their talent and art to support COH and asks your generosity in purchasing art. Moreover, there will be over half a dozen raffle prizes including a 20-person wine tasting at Total Wine & More, tickets to the SF Botanical Gardens, as well as a COH Swag bag, which includes the latest COH merchandise (also available for individual sale), including COH hoodies, STREET SHEET face masks, and new COH iron-on patches and enamel pins!
